Which alt, according to you, is the a good investment and why?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

No guarantees but:
SYScoin: with a recent partnership with Microsoft Azure and the Beta 2 coming up within weeks, investing into SYS might yield considerable profit.
Ethereum: promising technology and hyped. Has already left all other altcoins (though technically ETH isn't a coin) in the dust but might further increase dramatically.
LISK: consider this a long-term investment. Technology is also promising but I'd say you won't see significant profits in the first 6 months after release.

SYS: Yes, but with the recent pump, not sure if It's a good idea to buy now. ETH: It's already 13$ & No cap on the no of coins. LISK: Invested in the second week, but more than 3000 BTC already invested. :p

Yeah, I concur with ETH--you never know when it's the top, and it can probably rise a lot more. Just look at the action we've seen in the past couple of months alone. I haven't heard of the other ones here, thanks for the tip.

You can buy from their crowdsale website: https://ico.lisk.io/Though I'd recommend you to wait for them to be listed on an exchange & then buy.
