The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this isn't an alternative bitcoin client, but the launch of an altcoin called c-bits?  Different coin cap equals not Bitcoin.

Based on reading just a bit of the article, you are not wrong.  Unlike Bitcoin XT, Bitcoin Classic, Bitcoin Unlimited, etc, all of which run on the longest Bitcoin chain and are NOT altcoins, C-Bit is an altcoin complete with its own chain and rules.  The inaccuracies in the article beg a question, though:  How much does it cost to pay "Bitcoin News Sites" to shill an altcoin with misleading editorials?
