Did not receive bitcons from virwox to electrum 2.6.2 Help

Hi all,

I withdraw bitcoins to my electrum wallet but i do not see any history.
On virwox the said that the withdraw can take 48 hours. Does that mean that electrum is not showing that history?
By the way, in electrum under TAB Receive i have saved the received address with the requested amount from virwox.
Is this the way to do that?

If i click view on block explorer i see no transactions.

Virwox is legit and there is no way they will scam you , I never had any issues with them honestly .
Now if they said it takes up to 48 hours , It means they didn't send it and they will send it in the next 48 hours so it's normal that you can't see it on Electrum or the Blockchain yet .

For security purposes, Virwox does delay the release of Bitcoin for 48 hours+ on the first withdrawal for that account.

If you have used any address displayed under the address tab, the amount will show up when they send the transaction.

If there is nothing on the block explorer, there is nothing wrong with your client.

if you have already waited for 48+ hours for the transaction then double check the address you provided. if you're sure that it's the correct one contact their support. if there's no transaction in blockchain that means they never sent anything. it's the service and not the wallet.

if you haven't waited for 48 hours then it's probably because virwox haven't processed your withdrawal request yet.

I just wondered how you deposited funds to virwox (credit card, paypal, skrill,...).
In case you used paypal, they do verify a lot (i think it has something to do with the fact that paypal has a lot of chargebacks).

yes absolutely true... people are buying accounts of virwox only for paypal scam!

For sure this is not an electrum problem, because electrum is the best desktop-laptop wallet out there and it shows the transaction right away  so I think its from virwox they still haven't sent it to your btc wallet address yet and I guess you have to wait a bit until you receive it.
