Just tell them if a super-advanced alien ship that just traveled 1000 light years at faster than light speed were to arrive here would they whip out their wallets to feed the meter or pay in Bitcoin?
See how that goes over.

If you had one chance to get someone interested in Bitcoin (on a TV interview, or in private conversation with a wealthy friend, for example), and under 20 seconds... What would you say?
There are a lot of great stories about bitcoins use, on of my favorite is how Immigrants are able to send money back to their families safely, instantly, and for a fraction of what western union would charge. It's just one of the many uses for bitcoin but the fact that bitcoin has no borders makes it truly limitless. Actually that is really a good idea, so immigrants no need transfer back the money with fee again. Just turn it into bitcoin and transfer easily. It's really a good idea though, i never thing about that.

That kind of limitations is really difficult to follow through, I would probably focus on the fact that the fees are limited and that you can send worldwide transactions with just a single button, also the fact it's not controlled by a single authority so it's not the type of thing closing overnight.

If that situation come, I'll simply ask my friend, "Do you know what is bitcoin? try to research about it in the internet, if you wanna know more, call me dude!!, call me, don't forget.. " I think 20 seconds is very long for that simple statement..

I would ask, "Have you ever been paid weekly to post your thoughts" I am sure he would get panic and ask me what the hell are you talking about and who will pay me for sharing my thoughts. This is just one, small way of making some free BTC, and is not what it has been made for. I suggest you look into BTC more to learn more about it.

I think 20 seconds is long enough for me, I'll just simply tell my very rich friend " hey friend, I know this would be weird but, buy some bitcoin from me, ask me later what it is." That I think could encourage new investors to buy bitcoin..

How would you like to make a boatload of money and help take down the Federal Reserve Bank within 5 years? I think it's definitely gonna take much longer than five short years! We need some real ammo and real amounts of supporters on our side. My only concern is how we're gonna find them.

How would you like to make a boatload of money and help take down the Federal Reserve Bank within 5 years? this is the worst way of introducing bitcoin to others because if bitcoin price doesn't go up as advertised by you in the first place or worse than that if price goes down as it does from time to time, then you will become the bad guy who scammed them out of their money especially if they are newbies with 0 interest in bitcoin and checking a price chart.

I would probably say, "do you want to buy some bitcoins" because that event will happen to me for a long time sooner and probably the rate of bitcoin that time was higher than now.

i would say them to invest all their money into bitcoin if they want to be like 3 or 4 times more rich in the future
it would surely seem attractive and they might even consider the idea to invest all their money into bitcoin or at least a part of it

20 seconds is a little tough to tell someone all about bitcoin and make them interested, and it only gets harder without any assistance from a PowerPoint presentation or a small video.
for example i can probably introduce bitcoin to others way better with a short PowerPoint presentation or a simple flash video. in that i would stick to the bitcoin features that are unique and interesting like the fast speed on sending a transaction, the low fees and the security. and try not to mention the technical stuff about mining,... and maybe include some speculation about future of price.

Get a computer, and search Google.
