BTC Guild. Donation % set to 0, but still donating 2.5%

In my account, I set the donation % to "0.00".
Under "Rewards Summary" --> Confrimed Rewards --> it still dhows "includes unconfirmed blocks with 2.5%+ donations".

So the donation % setting doesn't work at all.
And, 2.5%+ donations is scary to me, as it can mean 2.5%, 10%, 100%.
I sure wouldn't want to donate 100% !

That's if you've set it to 2.5+%, which you haven't. Check the block statistics to see whether you have actually donated, and it'll also say how much you've donated under My Account.

I don't really think you needed to make a thread about this. Using your brain would have brought you to the answer. I also think that you should consider donating at least something, Eleutharia works hard and I think that his work is worth my 2.5% donation.

Edit; Also, with 2.50+% donations you're able to receive payouts for invalid blocks, and so far my payout from invalid blocks has exceeded my donation total, meaning that i'm actually better off nominally by donating, even if it is by 0.01BTC

That message about unconfirmed blocks with 2.5%+ donations shows up whether you're donating 0% or 100%. Under my account, does it say that you're donating 0%? Also, go under "Rewards summary" does it say anything next to "Donations given"? (This won't appear if you've never donated).

Go to block statistics (Right hand side, pool information) and next to the blocks for which you have received an award, check whether there is anything in the "Donated" column.

Sorry if I'm misunderstanding you, but it seems that you're confused by the fact that the website mentions a perk for people donating 2.5%+ even though you're not doing so yourself.
