A few days ago I got a PM from a 9 post newbie with a business proposition:

He solicited to contact me to tell me about this ASIC mining share company I could buy shares in!!!

Investing in mining gear is to risky in my opinion, so I was never really tempted.

Any of you had this happen too?

I was not making this up and there is a chance that the guy that contacted me is completely legit and really wants to start an investment ASIC firm.

However it stinks, why PM me personally, instead of making a thread here instead?

I told him that ASIC's are a gamble and he would need at lot of meney to buy hardware, so if he was real I turned him off.

So I don't post some guys personal PM on a forum on the basis of a suspision. He was a 7 post newb.
