I've got different machines and I want to easily share data between them. Therefore I am looking for a fee and secure cloud storage service what offers an end-to-end encryption. I also want to store sensitive data like passwords (KeePassX backups i.e.).
I do not need much space. 50-100 MB would be okay.
Any suggestions?

i use both google cloud and dropbox. Never had a complaint about them. I am thinking about building my own cloud. I have a dedicated box and some VPS's with loads of spare BW and diskspace

Because they spy in secret Seriously, I am not comfortable with by storing sensible data on such cloud service without encryption.

The trouble is, everyone is spying so you're left with two choices: go with a storage provider with less than stellar resources and be vulnerable to everyone, or an internet giant who will make you vulnerable to fewer attackers. The whole interconnected web and OS experience seems to be how it's going nowadays - not that I'm a fan. So you either go all in or use techniques like encrypting documents on your desktop before uploading.

That's why i'm thinking about building my own cloud using my 2 VPS's and dedicated box.... Maybe even only my dedicated box, since i can create an encrypted partition to put the data on, so not even a datacenter tech could look at my data I was actually thinking about owncloud, i think that should do the trick

Use OneDrive, the one and only cloud storage which I use and I am very much satisfied. You can access your data anywhere, simply by logging in to your Microsoft account.

I use Syncthing and only sync between my own personal devices; nothing safer for the convenience https://syncthing.netSyncthing replaces proprietary sync and cloud services with something open, trustworthy and decentralized. Your data is your data alone and you deserve to choose where it is stored, if it is shared with some third party and how it's transmitted over the Internet.
Private. None of your data is ever stored anywhere else other than on your computers. There is no central server that might be compromised, legally or illegally.
Encrypted. All communication is secured using TLS. The encryption used includes perfect forward secrecy to prevent any eavesdropper from ever gaining access to your data.
Authenticated. Every node is identified by a strong cryptographic certificate. Only nodes you have explicitly allowed can connect to your cluster.

I do not trust ANYONE with my data. If your only use for the "cloud" is to sync between computers Syncthing seems very clever.

I took the plunge to, installed owncloud on my deciated box, and rsync'ed the data to my VPS. If it works, i'm even thinking about renting 3 small VPS's, installing openstack on them with 3 copies of the data, and installing owncloud on top of this... That way my data is completely secure

You could check out www.tresorit.com . They claim to use end to end encryption, so they should be pretty safe.

I use Google Drive too and I managed to get additional 2GB on the Feb 9th by carrying out Google Account security check. That's part of the activities during Safer Internet Day.

For me if it's online, it could not be 100% secure. There are always leaks, always hacks, always problems.
