The site looks new and i think the sites not so trustworthy and i heard that this site is scam. i just read some thread about this site before that this site is scam.. so its better to stay away from them.. why don't you try other trading site like bitfinex or poloniex.. or you also try yobit as my signature..
As of now they are trust worthy than btc-coupon..

I didn't want to use the site as well.
Just the guy who wants to trade BTC with me.
In such case i am very cautious thats why i ask here.
I won't use it anyway since i can't find any reliable information on the web about this site.

Is there any other escrow service like this which is well known and trustworthy so we don't have to wait for confirmations  ?

Stay away from them for now. I am not saying that they are for sure will scam you, but personally I wouldn't trust them just yet.
Find other way to deal with your trading partners, avoid insecure and not trusted 3rd party services. Better safe than sorry.

This site look very fishy even as it is been recommended by your partner, you can bring him to this forum and get a reputable escrow.

Localbitcoins have their own escrow and a very good and reputable one, tell who ever you're trading with to use that one only, if they refuse to use LBC in built escrow then they're trying to scam you.

LBC is more reputable then btc-coupon.com, plus they have a built in escrow system so use Localbitcoins instead of btc-coupon.com.

localbitcoin is old site and i never hear a problem with them. btc-coupon just hear from you and looks like that site isn't profesional better you don't use them.
