I opened up a coinbase account a few days ago, I was wondering if anyone has used the service before and just their general opinion of it.

I signed up last Tuesday and was confirmed on Friday. Bought a few from there and am awaiting the delivery. I've heard mostly positive results from them although there are a couple of people on reddit/r/bitcoin who had bad experiences.

I was referred to it by a friend who said after your one month confirmation period it is the best way to buy bitcoins right now.

Wait, so there is also a one month confirmation after you've confirmed a phone and bank account?

The one month confirmation just lifts certain restrictions from your account, for example, you can purchase more bitcoins per day.

oh okay. I wasn't sure.

I wonder if anyone has done the opposite recently, I would be interested to hear how that works out. (i.e. turning your bitcoin into USD)
