If you were rich, would you still gamble?

I think the richest people in the world are Asians and in most casinos you see full of them. Which is proof that the rich, still gamble.

A lot of people here gamble to become rich, but some do it for fun.

The question is, if you wake up tomorrow with 50 million dollars, would you still gamble for fun, or would you forget about gambling and do other stuff? Personally I think I would still gamble. I do it now, and I know I realistically will never get rich off gambling, because I barely do it and I don't risk much money, just for fun sometimes, to test my luck.
So if I had a lot of money, I would do bigger gambles, but they would still enter in the "for fun" amount (for the new 50 million standard). For example, gambling 1K a month would be irrelevant, and winning with a 1K bet can give you big rewards if you are lucky. It would still be fun, in fact more fun, and it would be as non risky as it is now, in terms of going financially bankrupt.

I think I would gamble anyway. I like, and I don't gamble to be rich as well, because that would be a bad thing to try to achieve, it would be to much pressure, because you would mos probably fail, meaning you would lose, that was exact the opposite of your intentions lol
I gamble for fun, and get fun from my profit of course, but never with the intention of getting rich etc. So yes, if I was rich I would still gamble with the same goals I already have. The main diference would be on the bankroll I would use, that would have to be adjusted of course, and it would be bigger.

If I woke up tomorrow with 50 million dollars as in OP's hypothetical scenario, then not only would I be able to live comfortably off the yearly interest alone, but I would also be able to travel the world in style... and also gamble of course.

I know other rich people who spend all their money to gambling and even be in debt and work (sing) for their whole life for free in Cyprus because of their gambling debt.
It's about mentality, not about being poor or rich.

What did those people do to get rich by hard work? I don't know a single person that's rich, let alone that did it by hard work. All those rich people I see are often times celebrities, or people that manage to be insanely successful in what they do without any clear reason other than offering a good product + seeing it go viral and reaching a ton of people. Of course, other people get rich off good investments which also require luck.
But the classic meaning of hard work for me is working a ton of hours daily.. I don't know anyone that got rich like that. Wealthy yes, by saving, but not rich with that alone.

i dont think i would gamble my money then as there would be no need to do that for sure because i would already have enough money for a living

Although I must say I never gambled for the profit you can make with it, I always gambled for  the enjoying part from gambling.

Your saying is you never aim for profit? You only played for some fun? Is there anyway to satisfy yourselves if you are not winning? I dont really think most people will enjoy if they keep on losing ithout gettng profit

I think statistically most of the largest percentage of gamblers are actually rich people and they do it purely for entertainment and not for money gain.

But I believe when you are rich enough, you can find gambling in comfortable zone with the very big bankroll. Because many gambling requires some very big multiples of your base bet amount. It is only possible for rich gamblers. This may be one of the reason they are still continuing their gambling.

Yes, you are right. The very big bankroll is only possible with the rich gamblers. If I am rich enough then I can go for Martingale with my dice autoplay. But I am still dreaming.

I admit that there are some people like that, gambling their money no matter if they lose or win. But afaik its only applied by rich people, so I guess he is one of them

There are many reason for the rich people still keep on gambling even they are already rich. One of the reason I have observed with them would be, gambling is just a part of their daily life style. They simply love the gambling gun.

There's a lot of stories out there about lottery winners that became poor again and starts falling in line to bet and gamble. Probably the problem with those who got rich with gambling is they don't know how to manage their winnings. If it happen's to me I will not gamble anymore.

But if you keep thinking about the result whether you win or lose you will just lose everything no matter rich or poor people. The different is rich people have more cash so they can sustain more and they will still have a chance to make it back again

If I woke up with 50 million dollars tomorrow, I would probably set up a bank account and keep most of the money in there for dire purposes. Then I would take one million to buy everything I would ever want. I'll then take an extra million and convert it to BTC. Then make huge bets on Primedice, luckybit, basically multiple gambling websites and get a top leaderboard. I'll probably still gamble if I had the money, but I would be too cautious of my bets and just gamble for fun.

yeah even many rich people out there. rich on gambling. they are trading and binary. I think that includes gambling.
Sometimes the government even bet who the winner of the euro in 2016 lol

It will be the best to just open up your gambling site if you can't control your self to gamble, that way, even if you play, you are just recycling your money and never really gone when you are playing..

If I were rich of course I would gamble much more than now.  Because I'm always trying to follow the rule to not gamble with more than I can afford to lose. Hence if I were rich I would have the ability to afford more to lose and would gamble more.

I never gamble to become rich and I strongly advise to every gambler never do so.

If i very very rich i will gambling everynight, but if i'm just "Rich" my answer is NO.
Because i will spend my money in invest program or real business.
