If you were rich, would you still gamble?

If I were rich , I would be on some Caribbean island now enjoying myself and would have totally forgotten about gambling, gambling its just a hobby of mine, am not addicted to it to continue play even if I have 50 mln USD.

The main problem with rich people is that they don't have any fear about losing any of their wealth because they see their wealth as an endless source of money that doesn't' stop generating more and more money. This is how a lot of rich celebrities go bankrupt, but if they know what they are doing like Mayweather they will never stop being rich, in fact they only get richer.

I gamble to try & win money obviously but there's a little bit of me that enjoys it as a hobby too.

Rich people have more capability to gamble. They have money to spend or finance their gambling addiction. If I wake up with a 50 million dollar money, I will definitely gamble. It is an instant money I did not work for. So gambling it will be easy for me. It is another story if I work hard to earn that money. Maybe, I will refrain from gambling it away if that is the case.

A lot of people here gamble to become rich, but some do it for fun.

The question is, if you wake up tomorrow with 50 million dollars, would you still gamble for fun, or would you forget about gambling and do other stuff? Personally I think I would still gamble. I do it now, and I know I realistically will never get rich off gambling, because I barely do it and I don't risk much money, just for fun sometimes, to test my luck.
So if I had a lot of money, I would do bigger gambles, but they would still enter in the "for fun" amount (for the new 50 million standard). For example, gambling 1K a month would be irrelevant, and winning with a 1K bet can give you big rewards if you are lucky. It would still be fun, in fact more fun, and it would be as non risky as it is now, in terms of going financially bankrupt.

yes maybe i will keep playing gambling,even i have som much money,but it will different decision when i play gambling,if now i playing gambling to earn money,then if i were rich,i will playing gambling when i'm boring,just spent money for some adrenaline.

yes, you're right, if it is a hobby, gambling is certainly very difficult to stop, as long as there was a chance to make our money grow, we have to try, even through gambling. wealth will not stop us to stop gambling

gambling is not a smart investment or a way to become rich IMO, at best it should be considered a bad hobby for those playing randomly with it, I don't think it should be looked at as a way to become rich but rather entertainment in my opinion.

Why? Did you ever saw that casino bankrupt? I never did because house will always win in the end no matter how hard you try you will never beat them to 0 thats why invest in gambling site or casino is worth to try but for sure you can't predict how much profit will you earn from that. The more you invest the high you get

he is not talking about the house.
he is talking about people that are playing in the casino. that is not wise investment of money.
i think it is obvious that having a casino is most profitable if you know what you are doing.

yeah thats right gambling is not for making a money to be rich and gambling is for fun.. but most people they are just gamble to make fast money but it turns in to loose.. But for me i don't gamble my money because its a sins in our religion...

I think even if someone got rich he will continue to gamble , that's the human nature I guess
no one will get satisfied especially gamblers , getting rich means more money to burn  
in general I play poker for fun  and I make some money playing it , when I get rich I will try to enjoy the life more
but I guess I'm not going to quit , maybe I will start to participate in the high rollers events

That is most dangerous part in this gambling and once addict these games within no time rich can become poor, if they don't control there gambling properly.

Yeah. We ae working really hard and long hours in our jobs to get our monthly salary. But only just a few clicks we can get more than our salary with easy way. That's right it is really risky way and can loose everything too. But winning taste is really good.
