Of course there are a lot of people that is becoming poor because of gambling, but I think it is their own fault because they started to gamble so it is their own choice.
And people that is rich will of course also gamble, they have the money to spend on gambling.

Actually OP said if you wake up and get 50 million dollars not made a lot of money from gambling. And you also right. I also will run away if i win much money from gambling.

I agree and most likely since they don't rely too much on their wins or losses, they don't get as addicted as most less fortunate people.

For Gambling and doing Betting there is no formalities for rich and poor all people will play this Gambling. The only difference is rich guys if they loose also they can earn back that loose while playing other games bcz they have money to play. Poor and ordinary people think and play so if i rich sure i will play but only for fun.

It is true and it does the fact, that those who are addicted to gambling is 99% certain to be poor. Because they gamble using ambition is very high and they don't think of a trick that will be used. Because in the gambling should have a pretty good trick to earn victory

Mostly it will depend on how people became rich, if people become rich because they did a hard work (from zero to hero) so I believe they will not gamble their earning because they know how hard to get money.

this is not true, just think that rich people gamble in proportion to how much money they have. i don't think a rich gamble whit 0.001 bitcoin/bet. it has no sense

Different people have different habbits, some of them would not gamble and some of them who have become rich with gambling will continue to gamble so that they can be more richer in future.

A lot of people here gamble to become rich, but some do it for fun.

The question is, if you wake up tomorrow with 50 million dollars, would you still gamble for fun, or would you forget about gambling and do other stuff? Personally I think I would still gamble. I do it now, and I know I realistically will never get rich off gambling, because I barely do it and I don't risk much money, just for fun sometimes, to test my luck.
So if I had a lot of money, I would do bigger gambles, but they would still enter in the "for fun" amount (for the new 50 million standard). For example, gambling 1K a month would be irrelevant, and winning with a 1K bet can give you big rewards if you are lucky. It would still be fun, in fact more fun, and it would be as non risky as it is now, in terms of going financially bankrupt.

I think I would not do gambling anymore I would invest in a business that I like or maybe a business that are popular nowadays because you will never know the outcome if you keep on playing gambling and I want an assurance on my future and my families sake and money is not forever in life and eventually if you don't be wise enough to save some for the future it will vanish all of a sudden without you even realizing it.

Yes it is true that you will never know the outcome of your bet result but with huge amount of bankroll that you have you will have more chance to win rather than some average people. And with some luck you will sure boost your winning and get more richer because you can sustain more than normal people

It is true, as we become wealthier we certainly confused to spend money, because all the needs that we want always fulfilled due to the rich. And gambling is also one to spend money, but heavy addiction towards gambling will impact very negatively for life!!!

I agree to you. even if you become rich and have a lot of money but if you do gamble every day of course you will become addicted. if I've become addicted then you're not going to think about anything other than gambling.
then the entire wealth will be depleted because of gambling
