Auction Details

Domain Name: kwd.me (registration expires 11-21-2014)
Current Bid: 5.00 BTC
Current High Bidder: No Bids
Last Update: 6-9-2011, 13:00 EST
Auction Ending: 6-16-2011, 12:00 EST

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, PLEASE READ ALL OF THE DETAILS BELOW

I bought kwd.me in late 2008 and it is currently registered through 11/2014 (3+ more years!!!).  Initially I had hoped to make it an url shortener application but with a couple extra features.  First, you could choose your URL Identfier.  Second, you could create an account and using your account as the sub-domain, you could create your own list of shortened URLs.

I had the service running for about a year but I never did integrate the sub-domain part of the application.  I've been holding the domain ever since and I haven't had another good idea for the domain since that time.  If anyone is interested, a wonderful 3 letter domain is for sale.

Rules & Terms of Sales

General Terms
If you are interested, please post the price that you are willing to pay.  Bidder's must beat the last bidder's price and each time I login to check the forum, I'll try to update this post with the latest details.  If you want to bid anonymously send me a PM and and I'll post your bid in this thread without any associated username.  I'll PM you back with a response letting you know if you are the current high bidder.

I'll accept bids for a week.  Specifically, until Thursday, Jun 16 @ 12:00 EST.  Also, if I'm not satisfied with the price, I have the right to decline the sale.  I shouldn't decline the sale considering the current bitcoin exchange rate, but, just in case the BTC crashes, I reserve the right to cancel the sale.

Payment Method
To keep things legit, I'd like to use ClearCoin (https://clearcoin.appspot.com/) as an escrow service.

Domain Registration Details
The domain is currently register with GoDaddy.com.  To ease the registration process, I am requiring the purchaser of this domain to have a GoDaddy account.  Domain transfer is free (at least it use to be) between GoDaddy accounts.

As suspected, the value of the bitcoin is going down-- I really didn't think 30 USD/BTC was sustainable for long.  My offer still stands.  Even at the reduced value of 23USD/BTC, I consider 5.00 BTC worth the purchase of this domain.
