Faucets are never going to give you a massive payout, when I first got into bitcoin I spent too much time trying to make something from them.  The one faucet I have stuck with every now and then is freebitco.in as you can get lucky and they have a lottery although I have never got that lucky.

nowadays I am playing at YABTCL. com. They don't have a huge faucet, but I like the way they implemented their faucet. THeir system looks like moonbitcoin, you can claim whenever you want and the amount will raising depending on how long you wait between claims. You can claim up to 2000 satoshis in a interval of ten minutes.

Yeah there is a very good reason why they put that there so people wouldn't make any script bots.

It can happen, and I have seen it happen. I remember a user starting at 500 sat faucet, and going up to 200 mBTC before he busted. He wagered several Bitcoin in that session.
It is possible, just not so likely. If we ignore the house edge, chance of doubling is equal to chance of losing all.So on average, if you start with 500 sat faucet 200 times, you can get 1 mbtc once.

It is usually the site's strategy, i.e. make you lose everything before a cash out.
Either by having a big withdrawal limit compared to earnings, or a minimum of plays before you can withdraw.
