It once also happened to me when I made a deposit into my BTC-E account which requires 3 confirmations for every Bitcoin deposit. I was surprised to see the coins posted in just 5-10 minutes time. It's pure luck. More often I end up waiting around 30-45 minutes for 3 confirmations.

this was mostly luck but also there has been low number of unconfirmed transactions lately (less than 1000 sometimes) so i guess medium priority transactions are getting confirmed fast too.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip. Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

the only thing that is out of the ordinary here is the fast confirmation of a low fee transaction (even then we can't be sure if the fee was lower than recommended without seeing the transaction hash). the part about 3 confirmations just means that 3 blocks was found within 10 minutes. that happens almost everyday. I do agree that bitcoin is doing fine currently.

This is quite impressive to get confirmation within 10 minutes. Also you have got 3 confirmation which is more than the required.

I think you're lucky. I've sent using a small amount, but that happened I never get confirmed transaction. or perhaps you sent in small amounts and use fee under recommendation?

you are very lucky with that one because sometimes i even pay 10K satochies for a tx and i have to wait for a half hour to get 6 confirmations

i wish OP shared the tx id with us so we could see how lucky or regular this was. i mean technically it is possible to send bitcoin with 0 fees and still be high priority and get confirmation fast (it should have those three conditions (unless the rule doesn't apply any more)

3 confirmations in 10 minutes with such a small fee. That's pretty impressive, I think you probably got lucky though. I always pay above the recommended fee & most times don't get as many confirmations in such little time.
I have never paid above recommended fee, and I never suffered from any delays except that one day where someone was intentionally attacking Bitcoin with a ridiculous amount of spam, and even then I just had to wait some extra time and the money eventually appeared... I was never worried about losing money which is what matters.

Just moved some bitcoin and had 3 confirmations within 10mins. i paid the minimum fee that core required which was 0.00001433. i think bitcoin is working fine, and tells me that the transactions waiting confirmation must have no fee what so ever, would you agree?
You are quite lucky to had 3 confirmations within 10 mins. Normally it take 30 minuets for the 3 to 6 confirmations. Most of the people complain that transaction time take way too long and this is something thats needs to be rectified. I would also consider you lucky enough to get the transaction done in such a less amount of time. Waiting for confirmation is always be a probelm for bitcoins and we have to come up with solution.

This is when randomness of bitcoin strikes. I would very much with transaction confirmation times were standardized at some point. For now it is either this lucky case of extremely fast and easy confirmations. Or your transaction is lost in blockchain for couple hours.

yes i'm agree,so far i'm fine and never felt long time confirmation, but honestly i never use that small fee,its really small fee,do you sent that bitcoin from blockchain wallet?because i use coinbase and can't set minimum fee as small like that.

I have also tried to move some bitcoin which is above 0.05BTC and normally i used to pay 10000 satoshi as fee but blockchain.info suggest me that it can be included within first block even i only pay 1600 satoshi. Bitcoin network is being fast these days i think.

well i guess it depends on luck, you might get your transaction confirmed fast if the block will be not full or your transaction will be lucky enough to be included in a block i usually send my bitcoins with a fee from 0,0001 to 0,0002 and i never have any problems with the network confirmations
