Hey,

So we got a new apartment and as a deal of signing up we get free power for 6 months.

Just trying to see if there was any rigs that you wanted to ship over to California

For a monthly fee you could run it over here Smiley

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

PM sent.

Average time between signing on to bitcointalk: Two weeks. Please don't expect responses any faster than that!

Free Power <> Unlimited Free power.

You start using much more than the average renter and you will run into issues with the landlord.

In Canada we have a lot of hot water heating, so water is usually included in rent, but the rental agreement always states "reasonable" use.

Yes, we can send it back, or set up a new deal to stay here longer.

yes there is no such thing as unlimited power, i'm not planning to run a data center of my apartment.

You've been around the forums for 2 weeks, what kind of rep do you have to prove you won't just steal the hardware? What kind of security do you have so that other people won't steal the hardware? Does your renters insurance cover thousands of dollars of other people's hardware in the case of an emergency? Do you have a stable business class internet connection? Power and cooling to handle multiple kW of units?

Ah, I see that you're right. My apologies, as I just saw January, and thought it was last month.

If you're really serious about the other questions, which i'm sure you're not and just being a troll, pm me and well chat.

Actually, his questions are valid and I'm sure anyone who is interested in this idea will want the answers at all.

- You would need to provide some guarantee (and not just your words) that you will return the equipment.  A lien on property perhaps?
- You would need to produce proof of insurance covering the third party equipment from theft and loss.
- You would need to show you have adequate power and cooling to handle the equipment.

If you are not willing to provide this to the community (instead of just a PM - odd) then no one should take your offer seriously.

These are all very good points. Thanks for the input. All of which have been addressed already to everyone who sent me a PM. I really don't want all my information public what so ever. I already have two offers set up, so i'm going to close this at this time, I think this is my limit for now.

Thanks everyone!
