Hmmmm I just read the comments and they looked totally reasonable to me =)  The readers seem curious and cautiously supportive, actually.

Although we have this gem from their forum:

"Now what if I am a really good hacker and I figure out how the bitcoin software and reprogram it to give me a million bitcoins? Something to the effect of couterfeitting bitcoins. How can the bitcoin system be able to identify whether the bitcoins tallys being transfered was gained legitimately?"

True that there is just one person yet on this forum saying something dumb.  Sorry I have such a low tolerance for people that don't inquire on their own that I may have over-reacted.

Still, people should go there and make sure that whomever reading this article gets the truth.

I was going to post a little informative blurb to the commenters ( agree with #2 above, commenters seem genuinely interested - now we just have to kepp them AWAY from this forum or they'll run for the hills  Roll Eyes ) on security, anonymity and the blockchain, as it seems there were some questions regarding double spend etc etc...

But then, MaxPC makes you register to post.

TL;DR..

He's not dumb. Just ignorant. Blisteringly ignorant.
