I lowered pricing on Avalon 6 units on my website to $625 which is $593 after coupon code. Again I am not selling the controller kits, as I do not have extras available. I have 5x units in NY. and can include the controller kit if someone wants to take all 5x Av6 units.

The game has become very hard for a 5k guy.

you have 5k to spend and 5 kwatts to burn in power.  Bitmaintech pretty much dumps on you if the gear breaks down. I purchased 19 s-7's starting with batch 1  and they basically said fuck you phil about my dud batch 1.   Worse then that they just never answered me except for 1 time and it was a simple don't ask me ask so and so.  I sent emails and posted about it more then 1 dozen times and never got another response.
    So I am trying to push Avalon's as much as I can.  So bitmaintech just kills off the price with a huge drop.
Kind of depressing.

Any how if you do buy from holyscott pm me if you need the kit.
first usa buy gets 1 kit  for free 0 nothing.

I also received a message that there will be $115 coupons distributed on 4/1/16 if you bought S7's during a certain period or to be used instead of S5 redemption on Hashnest. This would make the gap even bigger.

Gonna be a struggle for me to choose, because on one hand I really dislike Bitmain, but that price is hard to beat.

and there is the problem that I think most of us are facing. we don't really want to support bitmain but they make it hard to buy anything else as they price the competition out of the market.

My question is why the sudden generosity from bitmain. They have always been stingy in the past with discounts unless you buy in the pallet load. are the ones their are currently selling from their farms and they are trying to use these coupons to move them faster?

I hate myself for it but I know ill get another s7 as that price cant be beat but Ill still look around for an single Avalon. I know holy has some.

I'm with you on that. I was all set to join in this group buy, but the new price with coupon for the s7 is just too hard to pass up.

It also made me suspicious that they put batch 15 on their website before batch 14 was even due to ship out.

I now refuse to buy Bitmain S7, on principle. They used to be good, solid manufacturer. Not any more. Since S5, they've been producing sub-par miners, I'd classify them as just above junk. They have no Quality Assurance, don't believe the QA stickers on their S5 and S7 miners. Their chips vary as much as 20-25% below their advertized hashrate. They provide almost zero After Sale Service. What customer service? They laugh at your face when you run into trouble with your S5/S7 miners.

Bitmain got too big and now their head is in the cloud. Please support their competitors like Avalon; Do not point your miners to Antpool, there are many legitimate pools like kano, why do you continue to support centralizing Chinese Antpool with their bad practices like mining on empty blocks?

They did nothing for me about the s-7 batch 1.  My loss was about 150$ 

The problem is math. 

3500gh vs 4700gh

612 usd   with shipping  vs   500 usd with coupons and shipping

my failure rate on s-7 is 1 of 19 and the fail was low hashing  4400 gh vs 4800 gh

my fail rate on avalons is 1 in 11  and it was a full board    1650 gh vs 3300 gh   

  I did get service for it  but it was my error so I paid for that.

To bring all those factors it does favor the discounted s-7.

I am not buying it , but I am not buying the avalon 6  in general I am mostly just annoyed at the gear choices I have.

Well it is Easter I should stay off the site and hang with the family.
