Bitcoin will remain the #1 cryptocurrency because it has the best coders, developing all the most important advances in the game, and secured by the biggest network on the planet. Bitcoin will always be the longest-surviving cryptocoin with the biggest amount of transactions, other contenders can never say that. I don't even need to click the link and read to know it's just another excuse for an altcoin that brings absolutely nothing new to the table. |

Name isn't everything. IBM developers do not have experience building cryptocurrencies, neither do they have that much experience around blockcahins. They're most likely just building tools built on top of a blockchain, not a currency... |

my worries is that ill be honest. i just think that one day all bitcoin developers moves to IBM or other ... and leave us like investors alone and btc will be dead then.
i believe blockhain is the priority and not bitcoin

Love how noobs come to this forum and post crap like this, then go on to tell us that bitcoin is doomed for (a), (b), or (c) reasons. If this was even close to an issue, the btc price would have accounted for this. IBM blockchain is not a crypto-currency, it is a centralized blockchain. Nasi, do you even know what Bitcoin is and what makes it special? |

Nasi calm down, i didnt read the article because i know it will be full off the same old shite, If IBM ever release a blockchain style crypto currency, who cares ? for a start IBM are not in the business of giving you any freedom what so ever, Remember this is the same company that made the early computers for recording the people in Hitlers death camps. They are in it because they see the potential and what to use it to their benefit. it will probably be a permissiond ledger which means no right minded freedom loving person would use it.
