Coins from 1st block will be used for growing JACK eco-system, adding JACK to exchanges, wallet improvements, integrating JACK into different services, etc. More information will be provided in future announcements.

So 210,000 JACK for the dev.
Total from EARLY POW phase (2500 blocks x 21 JACK) = 52,500 for ALL other miners!
Then POW actually STOPS for another 72,500 blocks - that could be 100 days - with NO REWARD.

Dev already has 4 x the available coins BEFORE the mad POS % kicks in for nearly 60 days.

Then he can stake like a boss and everyone else get screwed. He is going to have more than 80% of the coins!

Only a complete loon would throw hash at this........

Premined coins are %4.2 of all total coins. we had some coins with 5% Premined that were very successful. Thus i am in and starting mining.

Yes possibly would agree,  but rewards stop during pow for a long time, whilst dev grabs high pos as ASICREFUGEE points out above.

Blocks rewards
1 to 2500 = 21 Jack
2501 to 74999 = NO PoW

1st block  210000 coins

pos
100 to 41000 = 21000% per year
so 57% daily

he got over 100k daily from staking...

this was stupid from the devs....ppl who are mining this are stupid 2 and will loosing their btc for sure

Premined coins are %4.2 of all total coins. we had some coins with 5% Premined that were very successful. Thus i am in and starting mining.

The premine is HUGE. 210,000 JACK
Then add the 100 days of no reward (dev has 80%+ at this point)
Then add the 21000% POS rewards for 60 of those 100 days - and the other 40 days are at 10000%

My maths :

21000/365 = 57.5% per DAY. Even without compounding that %, lets keep it simples, that is a % increase of 3452% over the first 60 days.

Would you gamble in a place where the house percentage is so high?

If you were an exchange would you list this knowing that the dev has the potential to dump a huge premine?

Feel to check my post history, you can see I have NEVER shown any malice towards any coin, but this is such a blatant grab for YOUR BTC that something needs to be said.

Dev suggestion : Burn 200,00 JACK leaving you a 20% (10k coins v 52k mineable) before the high POS kicks in and you MIGHT just save your coin  Wink

EDIT : My bad, high POS already kicked in  Sad  Coin is dead

Hmm, looks like the dev searched & replaced a bit too much ?

The "Zerocoin" directory is called "BlackJack" now:

https://github.com/BlackJackDev/BlackJack/tree/master/src/BlackJack

(In comparison here from a regular coin:)

https://github.com/exclusivecoin/Exclusive/tree/master/src/zerocoin

Even the files inside that dir where renamed, including the comments:

https://github.com/BlackJackDev/BlackJack/blob/master/src/BlackJack/BlackJackTest.cpp#L4

Original:

https://github.com/exclusivecoin/Exclusive/blob/master/src/zerocoin/ZeroTest.cpp#L4

Quite funny Smiley

Whats that ?! 21000% POS Interest ?

https://github.com/BlackJackDev/BlackJack/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L994

The premine is huge, but we know that already:

https://github.com/BlackJackDev/BlackJack/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L970-L974

Code:
// miner's coin base reward
int64_t GetProofOfWorkReward(int64_t nFees)
{

    int64_t nSubsidy = 21 * COIN;

    if(pindexBest->nHeight < 1)
    {
        nSubsidy = 210000 * COIN;
    }

    if (fDebug && GetBoolArg("-printcreation"))
    printf("GetProofOfWorkReward() : create=%s nSubsidy=%"PRId64"\n", FormatMoney(nSubsidy).c_str(), nSubsidy);

    return nSubsidy + nFees;

}
210000 premine without giving a reason?
