this article show us how terrorist want recruit everyone that have musilm, and they really serious if this article was trusted, but i'm not panic because this,i believe some good hacker and police will undertake this situation. “Everyone can contribute to our efforts and we invite you to fight with us, you can find information about the operation in the description of this video. The Islamic state can not recruit Muslims in Europe if they are accepted and included in the society. So we want all of you to stand together against discrimination.”

They didn't really get into brute force but they simply hacked into ISIS files and found "BITCOIN KEYS" to which allow them to access their bitcoin funds. that just make sense. Because i can't believe it at first if someone actually hacked and took the btcs without the key.

firstly the brussels thing was not an ISIS thing.
they guys involved did not grow up in the middle east. they were actually local to brussels and funded using the Euro.. exactly like the paris attack
im not sure if its anonymous pretending to be white haters by taking glory for hacks that never happened. or if its media trying to say that bitcoin is bad because terrorism was funded with bitcoin. even though it was actually funded with euro's..
sometimes i think people like the OP should research the news rather then spread it around and popularize it, even when admitting to not know the full story.
the article is not really about bitcoins use of terrorism nor is it about providing proof that it is used (bar a crappy google search).. but has the intention to say that bitcoin is easy to steal and is stolen quite a bit.
so in my opinion its just another fluff piece trying to say "bitcoin is bad" in as many ways as media can find

Some aspects make me wonder about the story as well. What would they do with the gains, presume they encourage a robin hood mantra. Also would hope they do not bash bitcoin in this manner.

I doubt many people actually understand or can figure out what is trying to be said by this article, I surely can't. Anonymous isn't bad in my opinion, but they seem to have lost some of their organization and meaning since a few years ago. I understand that most of them probably have good intentions, but Anonymous is basically anyone who can potentially hack donning the mask and joining their ranks. For example, if I am correct, there is a/are cell(s) that are against Donald Trump, but there are also cell(s) for Trump or supporting him in some manner. I know they want to be Anonymous and impossible to defeat by arresting a single person (or group of people), but it seems like anyone can just jump in and say that Anonymous as a whole is for X or Y.

exactly. the article refered to a video but i bet the person behind the mask in the video is not the same person that hacked the twitter accounts etc. just some person making propoganda. it can easily even be media itself donning the costume and making a video, just to have something to write about

The big question is, if Anonymous has stolen their bitcoin keys, what are they going to do with them? Are we going to see a stash of coins suddenly appearing on the exchanges (either now or perhaps in the future)?

They could do better than that, they should at least fund something else if they really have good intention. Maybe donate the bitcoin to some individuals to gofundme who they see need the moeny more than anyone. but if they really destroy it, then should they post proof.

Is there an actual proof of the BTCitcoin hacking? As most medias keep on saying BTCitcoin was used for this attack and that attack and in the end the results shows another evidence, so all I see is, another fake news that would spark some attention. Don't get me wrong, I did some digging (I just found about Anonymous today), and they seem have some good intentions and our real but I think whatever their doing now, is to get as much as attention as they could, no matter the collateral damage they do (in this case to BTCitcoin image).

Was watching the news passively this morning and noticed a news story that had guy fox masks being used by what the media referred to as right wing protestors. They turned on the hoses,in Brussels to get these people to disrupt. Its interesting because this could go two ways that are not good. One the protestors are anonymous but are being labeled as a right wing movement by the media or the right wing movement is hijacking the guy fox mask as a symbol of their own. Either way its not a good look for a movement that felt like a answer to corruption not that many years ago.

The "Anonymous" mask can be bought online, and anyone can make such video with the mask. This reminds me of the picture below, to be honest. LOL.

But which authority?

If they did steal the coins, I hope coins can be paid to families of victims lost their lives in the attack." At least half the coins.

They should publish the public keys for everyone to look at how much they managed to steal, and allow us to understand the financial status of the group. I doubt there will be any confirmation from counter-part...

Has anonymous ever actually achieved anything productive? Serious question. They like making a whole lot of noise but I don't feel safer at night knowing they're out there.
