actually, Litebar isn't dead.
The block count keeps marching on.

Somebody must be solo-mining.

I still have a lot to do with Bitbar - then got slammed with Litebar (which is good - I like it [not the getting slammed part] )
Coinwarz won't add bitbar, so I have to make my own.

What will happen to the old coins with the re-launch?

Are you swapping with the old one?

I do have a few coins left in my wallet. I didn't touch it for a long time. This ANN doesn't include any linux wallet.

The date to start using the new wallets is April 4th

Normally I put up a link for the windows wallet, and a link for the github source for the linux users to compile their own.
I can setup download links for the linux qt wallet and daemon, just never thought about it.

Windows qt wallet ready for download.

You can find download links:
On the OP
The Litebar web site
The github repo

or here Litebar-win-qt-v04_3_004.zip

Not a big release, but enough to show the exchanges and pools that Litebar is back on it's feet.

I've changed the wallet protocol version from 60001 to 60002 - important for later on to give the ability dis-allow the older clients to connect, it needed.
Changed the sub version to 04.3.003 - mostly so I can to track my changes
and changed the client name from Satoshi to Litebar

oh - I added the litebar logo to the overview page - it you click on it it will open your browser to Litebar.co

Next up is to get listed on some exchanges, and see about mining pools.

As for the wallet, I'm planning on adding:
Checkpoint server - in case we need them - like fork control
Alert messages - for warning messages like mandatory updates, and forks

The web site needs a lot of work, half the information is still for Bitbar.
I would like to add several 'walk through's' on how to compile the daemon and qt wallets for unix, setup NOMP and MPOS pools, solo mining...
If any of you would like to put something together, let me know.

I need to work on the graphics like the icon on the qt wallet, the logo ... maybe add some color to the wallet.

Still need a block explorer. I've been in touch with a person working on one. I'll keep an eye on it.

we should have a discussion about adding PoS to Litebar, maybe 5% like Bitbar ??

Any suggestions are always welcome.
