Will bitcoin hit $600 this year or down to $200?

I have a strong feeling that value of bitcoin will rise in the end of the year and it can never fall back to $200 and if it does then majority of people would prefer to quit.

did majority quit when the price fell from $1200 to $200 last time? No. There will be always new guys to play the pump and dump game until it finally stops. Or we have the real development, pushing the project more towards mass adoption.

Clearly described, none really quitted the bitcoin on its sudden fall. This time we don't experience a price fall as the earliest days of bitcoin.

The chance is higher that it will reach the 600 this year because you see that the value is now quite stable so that is not bad and that it is also not even reducing in value.
The halving is also coming and the most people think that it will rise a bit after the halving.

exactly! with a market as volatile as bitcoin is, there will always be plenty of more opportunities to enter the market at a good price. you only need to have patience and wait for the next chance. if you missed a good buying opportunity, then just wait instead of still buying because you're irritated because you missed a great buying opportunity.

Peaks and bull runs are nice for short term traders to make some quick dollars, but it's useless for the long term price of Bitcoin as the peak and bull run effects will fade away at some point. I want a sustainable growth for the coming years. That would be great.

For that to happen we need more development and less talking  about halving & co. Unfortunately, as you may see in this forum the things go the opposite direction, with majority counting how much they will earn due to halving, and important topics being left on the side.

Most likely the price is going to 600 dollar or even more this year because of the upcoming event named the halving.
The halving will let the price increase by some big numbers if we have to believe the speculators.

Yes price can aceive 600 level easily within end of 2016 or even before that in period of halving. I dont see any point to speculate price to get dumped to 200 from the current level.

simple: big miners who are also one of the biggest whales push the price down after halving in order to collect Bitcoins from scared investors and thus earn money while waiting for the difficulty to adjust. such a hedging scenario is not that unlikely to play out.

from the pricing trend of the last two days it is obvious that the price will touch $600 sooner in this month and after halving the value of bitcoin will be increased to much higher amount,now I think at this halving it will cross $1000.
