Feel free to let me know your thoughts.

Can possibly be an opensource project(based on python/tornado). Any good backend developers interested in working on this, let me know.

What is the minimal risk of losing the funds?

In the unlikely scenario of  server getting hacked  ... you could lose 0.01BTC which is the maximum amount that your server wallet will have.

I don't really understand how it works, but would you tell me who can take advantages by using mBitWallet?
To be honest, i think it's similar with FaucetBox and TipChange.

Yes its almost like ChangeTip,  but meant for person to person microtransactions and doesn't need social account login.

Suppose you want to transfer 0.0001BTC to your friend with address 1JboY6CM2PuJHEmFQonjaXZmZx2T4hCXaNv. On bitcoin blockchain would be too costly. So you just login to mBitWallet and transfer given BTC to 1JboY6CM2PuJHEmFQonjaXZmZx2T4hCXaNv (transfer will happen offchain)

For a user to login into mBitWallet,
He needs to login using his bitcoin address and a signed message proving ownership of his bitcoinaddress.

So you are sure that your friend got his funds without any privacy risks (Revealing your / his social accounts / email address). This way you can send microbitcoins to anyone having a bitcoin address.
