It's getting busy here, and a lot of threads are just obviously not of interest to me, but nevertheless keep clogging up the forum listings. I haven't been able to find a mod of SMF that would allow filtering thread display, except for in the unread threads listing. Anyone aware of one?

Another thing that could be useful, though I'd prefer not having to use it, would be the ability to ignore users. This, at least, does exist:
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=185

What say you, should ignoring users be enabled here?

Selling out to advertisers shows you respect neither yourself nor the rest of us.

I would also like an ignore user option. I would use it sparingly, but it would make my time here more enjoyable.

We need a way to ingore threads from popping up in our "show new relies to your posts" list of threads..
The only way right now to remove a thread from there is to go and delete all your posts in that thread.....

C'mon! Give us a "Ignore thread" button

Use the watchlist function, you can remove threads from your watch list.

I am using it, But do you want me to simply stop using the "show new replies" feature then?
Really, What would be the point of it..

You can migrate all the "show new replies" posts over to your watchlist, and then enable auto-watch in your preferences, then it works the same way.

You are aware, but the OP isn't, it seems Roll Eyes Read the screenshot, or even the last line of the OP and you'll see for yourself, you don't have to trust me.

You do know this thread is over a year old, right? "Ignore users" probably didn't exist back then.

+1, the watchlist does all that "new replies" does, and more. JackRabiit's complaint is no longer an issue.

Only thing is I don't think there's an obvious link to the migration page, but there is in the thread about the watchlist.
