Very simple, 1*10^9 = 1000000000, i think the correct english term is "a billion"

The simplest thing you can do is search on google,google calculator gives you direct answer.In case you need to know how it works - 1*10^9 =(10 to the Power of 9)=10*9 times IE (10*10*10*--9 times).
