1) charge a refundable deposit to join the pool.
2) refund the deposit after the person has been connected long enough to eliminate the cheaters gain...
3) don't refund deposit to cheaters


Am I oversimplifying this?

I'm assuming cheaters could be detected some how.

I guess I wouldn't join such a pool (even as a non cheating user)
And what's connected long enough?
Would I need to make a deposit for every round?
Try to convince me Smiley

if a pool started with that, I would DEFINITELY think it's a scam.

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

Everyone posts maths, but I don't see how the proved that you can pool hop and cheat the pools. Why don't I get it? How do they get rewards for no effort?
