I live in a place where electricity is provided for free. I plan to invest $15,000 in ASIC mining equipment. Not really sure what I am going to get, I want to try to get some form the next batch of Avalon's equipment. Any feed back would be great. I assume my margins would be good because the only cost (electricity) is zero for me.

Regards,
Marcus

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I was thinking of investing in solar panels... It's also free electricity after some time.
