Selling 10,000 XRP for 10,000 FRC.

Have a bid in on 0.25  BTC right now have to rescind this offer. https://ripple.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=15

Holding on to XRP now. Not selling what I have left.

Selling 10,000 XRP for 10,000 FRC.

Those xrp must be "testcoins", they may still reset the ledger before launch.

2 different forms of free-money: Freicoin (free of basic interest because it's perishable), Mutual credit (no interest because it's abundant)

I thought the ledger was reset... just received these XRP.  https://ripple.com/faq/ ripple vs. Ripples

Quote
The ripple payment system also contains a virtual currency called Ripples (XRP). These are the internal currency used by the system to protect the network from abuse. By requiring a fraction of a Ripple for every transaction, the network prevents an attacker from creating too many transactions and overloading the system.
All Ripples were made at the network’s inception (100 billion). No more will ever be created. The founders donated 80 billion to OpenCoin, Inc., the maintainers of this site. OpenCoin, Inc. plans to give away the majority of these for free.

Not read anywhere that there is a ledger reset pending from my understanding Ripples (XRP) are live.

So how do you / did you get them?

At ripple.com there is a link for asking for 300 or more but it just tells me my address and leaves it unclear who is intended to send them to me.

Given to me without asking just posted on the ripple thread here in Bitcointalk and I had some a few minutes later. I think there are some people distributing Ripples (XRP) who are part of the OpenCoin team. Anyhow 1:1 exchange who ever wants to part with their FRC.

I would say this is just the open beta and the launch will be announced publicly on advance. I could be wrong, but I don't think they're ready to launch with 56 open issues only on the client https://github.com/rippleFoundation/ripple-client/issues?state=open

Someone offering highest bid in XRP for BTC on the forum in Ripple. https://ripple.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=15

So any takers 10000 XRP to 10000 FRC.

Also note having read the forums barring any huge problems there will be no ledger reset read here:  https://ripple.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=5

The ledger was just reset. So ask me or arthur for credits again.
This will be the final ledger baring some catastrophe.

10.5 FRC/10K XRP, is as far as I'm going to go, until I know more. It's a similar economic fraction (plus a year of demurrage) which seems like a reasonable place to start.

I'm valuing 1 XRP in the .00000025 BTC range somewhere depending on utility. Right now utility is pretty low.

Whoo hoo, I'd part with 10.5 Freicoin for 10,000 XRP too if anyone will go for that. Be nice to actually do something with some Freicoin, which are otherwise looking pretty useless so far.

If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

Useless compared to XRP? Wink

Isn't that like complaining that your 2-ton barbell is just as useless as the 3 ton one?

(promised features do not count, this is bitcoin paranoia land!)

So how do you / did you get them?

At ripple.com there is a link for asking for 300 or more but it just tells me my address and leaves it unclear who is intended to send them to me.

Post your address here and someone will send you the 300 XRP/Ripples needed to activate your account.
