!. expeience:
With the dual wiev window open and fighting to unload my stash during a flash crash from $7 to $4.40 (It was back in early 2012), my then 5 years old daughter jumps onto my lap and I accidently click the buy button. Hurrying to place additional sell orders for the just bought Bitcoins, I manage to recover the following seconds, but makes no profit on the crash.
2. experience:
Later last year in the morning , while getting the kids ready for school, I was about to place a buy order at $7.08. My wife comes into the room and starts talking about the times of the appointments she has today, and she hands me $80 to pick up something for her at the post office. I try to explain that I'm kind of busy right now, but to no awail. I place an order to buy at 7.80 and as it starts executing, I discover my mistake.
Cancelling an order during execution, makes 6 BTC dissapear, and my new corrected order at 7.08 is suddently too high for the suddently dropping market. I cancel a second time and the price jumps up to 8 !!!
I lost a total of 16 BTC with my combination of a Gox glitch, panic and bad on the fly trading judgements.
To this date, nor my wife or daughter know of these incidents.
