I really wouldn't go on with a signature campaign to earn bitcoin. Your rank is virtually worthless to any worthy campaign to give you anything to post around the forums. On top of that, if I remember correctly, there are posting limitations for new members. Newbie posts pay something like pennies per post if you can even find a campaign that will accept you which is equivalent to faucets. Only hope is to buy an account to post on but you'll have to put the money down and post quality posts.

Hmm good that you already know you cant earn from faucet . If you really want to make 0.5 btc , these three i think is the best

1. Earn from Signature campaign
2. Invest in some good casino
3. If you are good at something , use the skill . Like poker or blackjack or if you are coder , start a thread here saying you need work , people may find you

Activity will only increase per 14 days (2 weeks). So, no matter how much you post, your activity will only increase 14 per 2 weeks.

Be patient. if you got high ranks, everything will pay off.

Or if you're too lazy to wait , you could buy other people's ID in the marketplace (digital goods category).

It's not easy to earn 0.5 BTC.
If you will have more BTC funds available, lets say 10 BTC, you could try with bTC trading every day.
Without special skills or BTC funds to trade, you may try with investing in HYIP programs but with high risk involved (I don't advice it).
Faucets or mining? To little earning.
So, finally, you can try signature campaigns but in order to earn more in this way, you need very high forum rank, good posting history etc.
Maybe you should make more realistic goal for yourself?

signature campaign is not only way how to earn bitcoin and there are plenty way how to earn bitcoin such trading activity or etc and for those who expert from their trading activity they can earn more than 0.5 btc per month but unfortunately trading need capital of money to do so

But for buying a bitcointalk account he will also need some money/bitcoin, I think for buying a “Full member” account he will need about 0.05 BTC. Which he can easily collect through faucets or some other tasks available here or at some other places. There also two signature campaigns available for newbies.
