That's a big proof how the "blockchain" technology is being widely adapted, regardless of this specific case but generally, There are tons of banks observing and perhaps running on blockchain and intending to use it the future IMO.

Unfortunately they most probably have no interest in bitcoin at all. They are interested in the blockchain tech.

Well, I would not invest any money in bitcoin adoption now too when I would own a big company. The current status of bitcoins is a pity. Fighting goes on, transaction delays and rising fees and bitcoin itself looks like it will get in trouble one way or the other.

Someone already post about this, of course its little bit weird if company like disney start interest to blockchain tecnology,even we know they are have technology to developing disney character,its not make sense if they use blockchain technology,still wonder what excatly would they do with this plan.

Any big corporation will have an eye on blockchain. Blockchain is having a massive hype since the last 12 months. And this is going to continue for a while. And then smart contracts will be the next big hype.
I see this positive. Let them have a look at it and try it out with permissioned blockchains and so on. We build the one big trule open for everyone where these giants sooner or later might connect with, via sidechains for instance.

They should have followed the example of the partnership between Barclays and Circle. { Just use Bitcoin, and do not waste time and money on developing a whole new technology } What will one

intern be able to do? You need a team of people with a good security background to brainstorm ideas and to develop something based on the Bitcoin Blockchain. These private ledgers are outdated now,

and nothing beats the decentralization of the Bitcoin network, as things are now. The Bitcoin Blockchain, has proven it's worth already over several years.

Sounds like a great opertunity for some new developer, people are using blockchain applications for everything now.  At my local bitcoin meetup there was a guy who was using it to track pigs from ireland to china.   crazy

not only disney is interested on blockchain technology, many big companies out there are interested on technology behind bitcoin, even some financial and economic organization to, but mostly they're not interested on bitcoin at all, only want to develop the blockchain technology

Tokens or reward system probably. But there is no point to use blockchain tech for private ledgers, its just blockchain hype and they still dont get it - if you need to be in full control, private SQL database serving those without control access (users) is all you need.

Disney tends to build monopolies in any merchandise they push,so I would not see to much beneficial projects coming out of this camp. For some reason they keep giving pedophiles work and that really is a weird connection that keeps getting rooted for them.

Haha I have this crazy idea that Disney management is going to implement the private Blockchain to function as ticket points of sale at their Disney world resorts so visitors would be able to buy tickets with Bitcoin and automatically enter the parks without the need for staff monitoring the ticket system. Actually if you think about it it doesn't sound so crazy does it?

It's interesting how everyone is interested solely in blockchain tech, and not bitcoin itself. But doesn't matter tho, because i believe that with
rising notion of blockchain, people will start understanding and be interested in bitcoin too, and even if they dont, atleast they will know how it works.
