well my s7 was working fine without its micro sd memory but now having issues tryint to start it again after i turned it off... the odd thing is that it works fine when i conect to the io board 2 of the 3 hashing cards... not having the sd memory affects in any way? or maybe its because the io board have issues or is not working properly and need to be replaced?

help please

First question for almost all S7 related strangeness: What PSU are you using?

I don't believe in superstition because it's bad luck: 13thF1oor6CAwyzyxXPNnRvu3nhhYeqZdc

the microsdcard is a none issue.

also do not do firmware leave it the fuck alone.

your problem is bad psu or bad board

connect  boards 1+2 test  if they work
connect boards  1+3 test if they work
connect boards 2+3  test if they work

all boards are good so then

connect boards 1+2+3 if it does not work bad psu

what is the psu and what is the batch number 8-15 or 1-7

8-15 need more power then 1-7

if your psu is lacking the balls to do its job
try setting the freq down from 700 to 625 is it is batch 9-15
or from freq 600 to freq 525 if it is batch  1-7

lastly set the fans at 60%  and see if rpms read about 3800 rom

il try doing the freq thing... my psu is a bitmain 1600w i thought the io board was the one causing the issue... so if i nerf the freq to 600 or less and it works, then it means the psu is bad? not the io board?

i did all tests ur telling me about testing the hashing cards they are all fine and my s7 is batch 8. ty for the help lets see if it fix the issue

It would seem that there's something amiss with your PSU or possibly connector(s) which at higher setting/wattage you get problems.

The trick now is to figure out exactly what is the culprit. Or not, 4TH/s isn't that bad, and it'll be running less power so less $$ on your electric bill.  I got mine UC'd to 625-631 just for the $$ drop on the bill, too.
