Why all the "uᴉoɔʇᴉq" words are up-side-down?

Did anyone notice this? I login bitcointalk this morning and realize all "B-i-t-c-o-i-n" are spelled as "uᴉoɔʇᴉq".

Was the site hacked?

I am also surprised to see bitcoin written upside down.At first I thought some enthusiasts member used his creativity in his post and use special symbols to post bitcoin and others following him.Only when I checked other threads and their reply,did I realise something is wrong.It also shows bitcoin as moondollar at some places

I just saw this today, 'uᴉoɔʇᴉq' is still written up side down in some of the Subject lines above the messages. Part of this joke will stick around forever.

Because it is most likely that it won't be used again. It wouldn't really make sense to re-use the same joke multiple times.

At least you did not start a thread before checking if there are some that contain information, right? There was a sudden flood of these threads, although I did like the chaos.

Nah, it was last years April fools. Nut sure if there was one two years ago. Probably missed it same as this year.

Avatars are working normally now.

There are a small handful of people who had an animated avatar before this new system. I'm not going to remove those, but if they update their avatars then animation won't be possible.

That could be true, also maybe he was planning to change it at a certain time but then there was a ddos attack and he went to bed or something.
