Looking to buy bitcoin(s) from a reputable source. I looked at buying from mtgox, but it is asking me to signup for something called dwolla, which I am not familiar with, and there is a bitcoinmarket which won't let me signup(says I need an invite). So, is there another reputable source which will sell and take paypal payment?(or cash local sale)?

you sire are the on who NEEDs to have feedback/references, which you don't...so gl! btw paypal is the least safe way to trade USD for bitcoins and this should be in the selling thread because you are selling PayPal USD for bitcoins

I have eBay references(682, 100% positive). So, what do you recommend I do? I have paypal, and used it thousands of times. Dwolla/mtgox I've never heard of, and there is a note on the site about an issue with deposits. So, I want a reputable place to buy them from. Heck, if you are local I'll pay cash.

If you don't have anything that will help me, then not sure why you would post. Please keep any replies on the helpful side of things Smiley any flames/pissing contests/bs please keep to yourself. Thanks!!

This is why people don't use paypal: http://thebitcoinsun.com/post/2011/06/05/The-Paypal-Problem

Dwolla is easy to setup and free - not to mention it has much lower fees than paypal (flat .25 USD).

If you're in the buffalo NY area, I'll sell for cash. Though I'd be amazed if you were Tongue

Got it, and it is the same concerns with paypal that I think every seller on ebay has(I recall researching being a seller on ebay and running into the paypalsucks websites). So, yes, I totally understand and get it. I just created a dwolla account, and when I get home will add my bank account and give it a shot!

I am not in Buffalo, but I am in the new england and northeast area(depending on day of week you can find my in NYC or Boston and anywhere in between). So, you are about 5+hours too far from me Smiley

So, you're selling digital currency on the mothership platform of the company that will pay you and ultimately reverse those funds?

Man, I wish I was a scammer at heart because I could have a field day with people like you.  Since I am not, i'd highly advise you remove that listing and make a new paypal account immediately.
