Why is it so slowly evolving?
When will the services, so you can spend a PPC?
I did not see a single site where you can be purchased on them at least what some service.
I would like to be able to direct exchange of PPC-coppers to USD

PPC? - Should become the first independent altcurrency!

Can you explain the proof of stake concept?  Is there a way you can get interest on your coins?

Coinbase for selling BTCs
Fold for spending BTCs
PM me with any questions on these sites/apps!  http://www.montybitcoin.com

or Vircurex for trading alt cryptocurrencies like DOGEs
CoinNinja for exploring the blockchain.

I think the whole point is not that. This currency is not so much for savings and investment, as for the exchange of services and goods. I think the "proof of stake" - an analog of inflation needed for the economy. (In my opinion should be set 5-7% inflation for the PPC, to promote the exchange and discourage hoarding and deposit)
In this case, all the bonuses BTC she has. Moreover, we have the advantage of flexible emissions and increase difficulty.

PPC? - Should become the first independent altcurrency!

The system turned out to have a nasty weakness, so maybe people are waiting to see if it can actually be fixed and not turn out to just keeping finding more problems before they bother to set up services that use it.

For trading back and forth with fiat maybe Ripple will soon be the way to go for any cryptocurrency to and from any fiat or any other cryptocurrency...

I don't think people are waiting for the update before rolling out services. They're not rolling out services because there's no real interest to do so. It's a problem every alt-coin faces. Even Bitcoin took more than a year before services started happening.

Yes I agree with Chris. It's a well known chicken and egg problem. But there should be a path. We shall see.

Will the next patch fork a later BTC client? As some services that have been setup had to use a patch to implement some of the RPC commands.

And on the chicken/egg problem, I am looking to setup some PPC business myself. Patience is good Smiley
