Overstock Invests $4 Million in Barbados Bitcoin Startup

Caribbean digital currency exchange Bitt has received $4m in new funding from online retailer Overstock.com.

So the Caribbeans are going Bitcoin first!Field experiment! Grin
If this should be successful other small states/regions with shitty currencies might follow after that.

Does this mean they are using Bitcoin with Bitt?  I am not sure I understand where bitcoin fits in here.
