To our future...

To secure our Bitcoin network we all must literally pool together until the ASIC's are the mass majority.  I know the difficulty rate will rise etc.  But as a world community its important to safeguard the network as a whole.  We must all continue to mine to protect our investment in this currency.  I know the power cost etc. will have a negative effect etc.  But, the value of the partial Bitcoin you mine, will be worth many times over what it is right now.

Please all miners keep going... we can't let a potential attack (government or otherwise) destroy what we have built.  Even cpu/gpu/fpga all are a contribution to our new currency.

I know I might sound a bit paranoid but... its better to be safe than sorry lol.

Thanks all,

TC

power to the MINERS!   (its only for a month or two till the ASICs come online en mass...)

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Till there is profit, its ok. When there isnt, 90% will leave. I hope bitcoin is strong enough till then to survive. I have free elctricity Cheesy, so no worries for me for some time.

I know I might sound a bit paranoid but...power to the MINERS!...

You don't sound paranoid so much as you sound like a collectivist / Marxist.

Isn't the fact that you are mining a kin to pooling your effort?  I'm just saying :-)

I kind of like the slogan: Power on the ASIC.

Damn it seems like its been forever.
