I want to wash my hand of this account now, Is there a trusted member here who i can hand it over to?

Considering that onepix1 provided sufficient proof about him being the original owner/creator of the account,
I'd suggest you handing it over to him directly.

A trusted member could ensure that the account was properly handed over in case there is any misunderstanding or dispute. Not likely since there is no money involved but still for everyone's peace of mind it would be better to see e.g. whywefight handle it.
