There is bug which giving error faucet off so if you want to continue you have clear the browser history and cache to keep continue there, i hope this will help you there and make it functional for you.

About the faucet being down, it obviously does not depend on me, it is undergoing some maintenance and there is really nothing i could do to prevent it. Belive me when i say that i'd prefer it to be up all the time too.
