About 50% of all bitcoin transactions are gambling related
About 4% of online gambling transactions are in Bitcoin and other Crypto currencies.
Can you even imagine the potential ?
are these numbers accurate, because i am always skeptical about these things until i see some proof, but it is not so unreal either. since a lot of these gambling sites are spamming a lot of transactions to the network that makes quite a large number of transactions but the amounts i don't think is that higher. |
Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

I think one of the reasons why gambling is so popular is because its unregulated mostly and pretty much anyone, I mean anyone can gamble. Even kids.

it is a perfect solution for the person that likes to gamble in restricted country, the bitcoin anonymous feature provides a comfortable solution for gambling secretly
the bitcoin gambling provides a win win situation for both player and the casino, so i think this is a good thing
But being secretive about these things will get rather difficult to do overtime. |

i have know bitcoin before i start gambling but gambling made me know more about bitcoin and try to have more bitcoin to play with.
i play with only faucet but i start beting with the bitcoin i collect. i have lost many bitcoin. but now i'm recovring little by little.

Well I'm not sure about "exploding," but I do remember this gambling section of bitcointalk.org not being very active just a little more than a few years back. There was a SWC poker thread, a couple of dice site threads and no bitcoin casino or sportsbook threads. I remember a bitcoin sportsbook "where we could finally bet on sports using bitcoin" was at the top of people's wish lists back then. lol
Now the gambling section is supersaturated with all of these and more. So I would say that there has been a significant rise in activity and interest in bitcoin gambling for sure most definitely. I'm surprised there aren't more bitcoin fantasy sports sites opening up with the US DOJ having cracked down on them recently being that it's a multi-billion dollar industry.

I agree that bitcoin makes it so much easier to get into gambling because of the value of bitcoin is always changing every minute it is hard to know how much you actually spending on your wagers. This is perfect scenario for the casinos that want you to spend more than what you think you actually have in your account.

I think that helped in the increase of players in bitcoin gambling and right now that it is very easy to play in all gambling sites and very easy in buying and selling on bitcoin, because bitcoin has become really popular right now and that is the case why gambling site has huge players right now. |

its definitely exploding! Its so much easier to make deposits even
to sites that arnt just bitcoin sites such as 5dimes bookmaker heritage
all take bitcoin not to mention the bitcoin only sites that are blowing up.

Online gambling was too complicated when it was coming to deposit/withdraw.So many issues about delays and privacy of personal information.Bitcoin freed us from these hurdles and now many gambling sites offer anonymous betting options.Some required minimal information but still there is no comparison in now and before.Bitcoin gambling will swallow old gambling sites.

Sooner or later almost every online gambling casino or site will have to adopt Bitcoin payments.The question is when they will realize that is is necessary not optionally.The early birds will take the worms.Bitcoin gambling is future of online betting sites.There is already a race and new sites begin to accept Bitcoin steadily.
