I mine Ethereum on Nice Hash. For the last few days, the Ethereum price on coin market cap seems to have stayed about the same, but the pay rate on nice hash has dropped from about 18000% to 16000%.

Overall, just a guess as I kept no records, I would say the pay rate has dropped in relation to the market price over the last month.

Is this my imagination or is there a reason for this?
Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.
