I think there is a chance that this could happen honestly, if everything will go well I think it can happen. Its just a matter of time, if the halving will also be good there is a chance of doing this.
Hm.i think it's maybe because the matter that $900 is too high for that to happen as early as september .i am expecting that in the next halving or year .but who knows if it goes $900 as september its a good news for us. I think it is not a big problem for the bitcoin price to be $900 in September. It is still 2 months away. Things are much more difficult than they might look. Just look at the fact that we missed the $800 level while we were less than $10 away from reaching it. Everyone thought it would definitely hit that price level, but it didn't unfortunately. Exactly from $780 it went back to $560 in last week, as at that particular point everyone was hoping to see the price of $1k and now again we are struggling to touch even $700.

At this moment 900 seems to be a realistic figure again. Odd since 1 week ago i though the price would touch down on 500. With bitcoin you never know what is happening and even now we are waiting for the whales to guide us.

I don't think so. At this point we are in a holiday period. Don't expect turbulent changes in the market. Also the halving is due, the only thing that can push the price up is good news, and you can't manipulate or put a time on that.

I would personally bet against that prediction, it seems like there isn't enough energy within the market right now to push it up to $900, even within the next 2 months. I would be willing to consider $800, even high $800s by December, but going up $250 over the course of 2 months is basically impossible, even for Bitcoin.

despite the likelihood of it not happening, it wasn't a bad call by the op. If I was gonna take this bet i'd bet against it happening. it's not long now and I don't think there's gonna be a great deal of action in the near future.
the appetite ain't there for any epic rises. we're sitting at a good level compared to the not so distant past and that's where we'll stay for a while is my guess.

It could go the opposite direction and be at sub $600 again. OP has a losing bet and it would be nice if he can buy out of the bet and cut his losses. I strongly believe it is good to save fiat now and get ready to buy in cheaper.

This is a bet that I'd be afraid to take in either direction. I don't really see us having the hype to make a jump up that high now that the halving is over, but once miners really start feeling the pinch the price may end up going up a bit. If I had to make a choice I'd probably say it's not going to happen, even leaning towards a crash happening sometime soon.

If the $700 reaches to close the lower $800 ish then yeah it has a way higher chance.
But if I dont see the movement increase at best it would be low - mid $700 unless it has another reason to move.

Exactly, there is nothing happening to move the value that high and the only value that I could remotely see by September would be at the very most somewhere in the $800s, not $900s. I would gladly accept this bet and see where it goes, however it's probably useless to think about this for right now.

I think it is easily doable, but I hope it doesn't. My only reason for that is the outstanding tech issues that limit the amount it can process per second, and if it gets overloaded with a spike and too many inefficiently full blocks it will bring with it a bad rep.
My 'hope' (great word to use in financials huh?) is that one of the very interesting looking sidechain technologies that sit on the Bitcoin blockchain gets to Beta or further to take the load off the main blockchain highway and make heavy trading a breeze, possibly even making the block size argument completely moot (my current favourite is 'Thunder'). What will Ethers Unique Selling Point be then? Kamikaze training school? (actually I do think there is room for ETH and a couple of other monkeys to co-exist with the Gorilla in the market, so shouldn't really knock it. It's just that there is a love affair with BTC, and anything outside of that is 'the other woman').
After that (which will cautiously instill confidence), and when proven road worthy and we can make it battle hardened, can the institutions get involved with confidence, and we'll see that moon shot that everyone tugs off about.

Before Sep 2016, BTC will fall down 300$. That is a time to buy BTC. It will rise again in November. I think we can't risk selling BTC. ETH will rise though. Safe your BTC in your wallet and be careful with trades and invests,

Bitcoin will never go high to $900 or more by September. Possibly the gradual increase won't take price to such a high price in a short term. In my view bitcoin might go near to $800 by December 2016.

It depends on some good news. If the SegWit or 2MB block size is implemented, the price will rise a lot.

I guess you guys do not follow crypto news. The last thing Bitcoin needs right now is a hard fork.
