Contacted the OP even give him the link to the trusted escrow so we can choose someone there and he ran away after ignoring me for an hour or so.

It's definitely a lazy
set and forget scam - people contact via PM, so the OP gets a notification via email and comes online like a fisherman with a nibble.
I'm surprised no one has already asked the OP to sign a message via the wallet to verify the coins exist. Will we see a
