Russian banker: blockchain makes me likely to lose my job
Banks might disappear due to the spread of blockchain technology. That is what has been voiced to the Vice President of a major Russian bank by one of its leading managers.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

It makes sense why banks are trying to push Bitcoin back with ridiculous policies towards Bitcoin usage. It's a serious threat to them. Not only to the bankers, but the whole financial system. That's why there is a saying. When you can't beat them, join them.
