At one time, this coin was one of the fastest. I think that now you can invest in it. But, the fall of Bitcoin makes us look at the prospects with caution.
I think to invest in crypto requires conviction from the start, indeed we should be precise in their stride before the crash and suffered losses, but stellar seems good enough to be invested. they will even hold an airdrop.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

is there a way to recover my stellar I've deposited in one exchange I made a mistake choosing the type of memo and because I lost my xlm and the support team told me that it is lost because of the memo thing, is there a way to recover it and how well, it's just a small amount but next time I will be more careful on this memo thing.
Your XLM is actually not lost, it's available on their address if your transaction is confirmed, So the only way to recover your XLM is to persuade the exchange team

So if the total budget is $125 millions and cap for person is $25 they are expected to involve 5 millions users. Aren't it optimistic?

Of course that's really strange to see this kind of promo where people have to submit their documents to become eligible for giveaway. I don't think this will catch attention of the people because of strict conditions its against the crypto spirit.

This airdrop is disgusting. Are you really going to submit your documents for $25? Promoting crypto by promoting anti-anonymity?

The purpose of this airdrop is for collecting users identities and protection against abuse. Some ICO projects also require KYC.

Blockchain .com they have lost credibility already in Bitcoin community for not activating Segwit after this long. It remains attractive for newbies else majority of old people have left it already. This airdrop is not welcomed by large majority and no way to share my personal data not even for $100. They can not deceive everyone but still many people will do it.

so the rumour is true that we need to send our document just for this airdrop ? i mean, we need to verify our data just for $25 ?
what happen if they are using our document for crime or money laundering or something like that ?
it has been decided or verified yet ? or ... what ?
(i just can't believe it)

XLM is much further ahead in terms of adoption, product, partners, decentralization, AND most importantly in Coinbase’s eyes: higher in market cap ($50M a day in volume).

They need some way to prove who you are so you don't get multi airdrops. The original air drops required a Facebook account... which turned out not to be a way to keep people from cheating.

Blockchain has launched support for Stellar (XLM). In addition, the distribution program - Aidrop 125 million XLM.

"Starting today, in celebration of adding full support for XLM in the Blockchain Wallet, we’ll begin giving away $125,000,000 of Stellar (XLM) to YOU, our users. With nearly 30M Blockchain Wallets to date, we’re excited to add an entirely new way for users to get their first crypto".

More: https://blog.blockchain.com/2018/11/06/we-always-put-users-first-and-now-we-have-125m-ways-to-show-it/

"By growing the Blockchain community, we can help more people own and control their financial future. Our first Blockchain Airdrop, Stellar XLM, is another step in driving this mission forward. Visit blockchain.com/getcrypto to be among the first to claim yours".

This is great news!

It is only a promotion that will serve to make Stellar known to many potential new users; the aidrop will be about 20/25 $ for users and I personally do not think that it will immediately increase the value of Stellar, because the Coin have already been bought by Blockchain that will soon distribute them.

I was wondering if Stellar  is going to become a security token? These security tokens seem to be booming HARD in bear market and might be the way to go! Have you guys seen what's happened to $CHX? Insane boom.

Either you're a security token or you're not, and you can not become one!

And Stellar is not!

Compare Stellar to Chz is really crazy .... good, you used the exact word  Grin

Yes, you need to verify your identity to claim XLM and of course, something bad will happen if they abuse your identity, So don't participate if you don't believe it, it's simple right?

Stellar needs not of this kind of airdrop it looks like blockchain dot com's this attempt to get the users information for offering them tiny amount is not getting appreciation and was rejected already by large number of people. Overall this isn't bringing good sentiment for Stellar as I have discussed with few people from my town and they don't get what is all about. People think it is Stellar's team who is offering this airdrop but facts are other.

Stellar continues to amaze me with his breakthroughs. Now I understand that this project will be completely permanent, but I'm a little late.

No, you are not too late to catch this from my point of view this is still undervalued. It could potentially reach get more higher market cap in coming days if you discover this than don't hesitate just join this party and have fun in long term.

Thanks, I was just thinking I was late, but I was wrong.

Stellar coins are good for you to have, actually I choose to invest when the coin has good technology.Stellar provide multi-currency transaction facilitation.

If you look long-term we say that you can appear whenever you want, change little, because Stellar has huge growth spaces, while if you have a short-term optics then I would say to wait a little longer, until the break of 4500sat, resistance tested more than once and always rejected; overcome that there is a free road at least up to the max Ath about 6000sat around ... beyond these we will find the 10000sat but it is early to talk about it, and more or less as always will depend on the movements and evolutions of Bitcoin.

I'm not familiar with how the Stellar wallet is working (first time used it) and so, willing to transfer my STL tokens to my Nano Ledger, i've copied the address which appears doing a mouseover over the Smartland asset in the wallet in the Ledger, and which is GCKA6K5PCQ6PNF5RQBF7PQDJWRHO6UOGFMRLK3DYHDOI244V47XKQ4GP. AFTER HAVING SENT some STL I have understood that that is likely just the address of the token itself:

https://www.stellarx.com/markets/SLT:GCKA6K5PCQ6PNF5RQBF7PQDJWRHO6UOGFMRLK3DYHDOI244V47XKQ4GP

1. Is there a way to get back the STL which I've sent to that address?
2. I'd recommend Stellar's team to fix the layout of the wallet in such a way that people don't fall for this mistake. At first glance it looks not like the address of the asset, it looks more like YOUR address. What if someone send there by mistake ALL of his funds?

Are you sure that Nano Ledger supporting Stellar tokens? I just used this wallet for stellar: https://stellarterm.com
This is like Myetherwallet for ERC tokens. This wallet supporting Stellar tokens as well
