Hard to say--whenever the altcoin market calms its stupid, irrational ass down.  Maybe May 15th?

My guess is that the market will start moving around 1 month before the actual block halving. I expect a lot volatility by that time, and once that happens, all traders will be happy again.

... or reluctant to trade if the price falls below $400 back down to $235 as it was 8 months ago. I think there will be mass selling before the halving. This is just my view on the way things too me happen. A stable price, then it falls sharply for no reason. Such is the way bitcoin is. Sad to say.

really hard to say it, because the price is really stable and difficult to predict. but I guess going away slowly until the end of this month to $435

I've been following the "triangle" formed along the top of the highs and the bottom of the lows since the last peak (November), watching Bollinger Bands expand and contract, and following volatility. The triangle doesn't leave price much room to move, Bollinger Band width has been low and flat-lining for longer than previous lows, and volatility is near its historic low.

My guess is that price is going to move sharply very soon, within two weeks.

Now that I've said that, expect price to flat-line for much longer!

Disclaimer: long-term holder, I'm not betting on the price movement I've described above. If Coinut hadn't messed up its sig campaign so badly I'd consider buying straddles, though.

I hope you're right man, the price really needs a kick in the right direction. Some people call stability a good thing, I like volatility.

I am also expecting something this month, since the quiet time is so extreme. It is not possible (not likely) for the market to stay so dead for much longer.

I have no clue when it will move. Probably when some news about decisions in the blocksize or some big exchange falling will make it move.
