it might be a male mate just for my opinion because of japans culture the name itself was given to a male person but still we aren't sure if he is really existing or someone only uses this name to hide the reality and to hide the billion dollars earnings heheheh.

You know what would be really cool is if it didn't have hands and typed all that code with its feet. It definitely needs long hair though. And a beard. And breathe fire. And scales.

Satoshi was a male. Thats for sure. The names seems like he was from Japan, but i cannot confirm this yet. The important think is the Currency Bitcoin and its smallest Unit Satoshi, which is now the best Digital currency online.

Yeah I too thought satoshi to be male, not that females don't have the ability to invent something new like cryptocurrency, but as soon as heard the name, I thought he to be a male. Any way male or female the person is genius.

This is not our choice!! It is like "do you want einstein to be female" Above all it doesn't even matter. His/her/their(if it is a group of people) invention is great and we all are following it. Bitcoins won't be different if they are invented by a girl or a boy.

i choose the third option satoshi is a group, meaning they not he or she.
it is possible that there was a group of developers working on bitcoin from the start and not just one person.

I'm trying to figure out why gender would matter. I love how people focus in extremely insignificant things. Let's say Satoshi actually is a woman. Would you all of a sudden drop Bitcoin and use another cryptocurrency?

The whole thing about it is laughable. It really does make no valid point in having a preference to either gender. If it matters to anyone tho, i always imagined him to be a guy in his 30's or 40's, but it would make no difference to me if he is a woman, none at all.

Last time I checked, Satoshi was a very old man in his 70's who just retired.

well you can keep the secret as much as you want, if you arent a good programmer and dont know much about how to be anonymous it wont work out to be honest though satoshi could have been male or female, no one knows and i dont think that it is a big difference as long as satoshi was really good programmer that gave us bitcoin

No one knows of course what it is, but I think it will most likely will be a man because it just not usually a woman that is programming. I do not want say that woman's are bad or something but in the programming section this is already seeing in my eyes.

probably male. women usually lack in logic, mathematic and IT stuff. women very rarely invent or build something new and important.
I think this way too. Womens in this case are really bad but if it's an exception i can belive that Satoshi Nakamoto is woman.
