Asia has always been into bitcoin. More then europe and the us. what surprises me is that japan left the bitcoin scene. Since
they have been into bitcoin and the altcoins (MONA) for a long time now.

Asia yes but Japan was pretty dead in the last years when it comes to bitcoin (gox not included). times are changing now.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I hope other Asian countries especially India follow trend of Japanese love.According to one studies only 50,000 people use bitcoin in India. If they increases to only 1 million, which is 0.01 percent of population, bitcoin will touch $1000 within weeks

asia likes bitcoin from day one, whole asia, but people notices only china, but japan likes bitcoin too and is pretty important for it,

but anyway that is a pretty good news, more countries that loves bitcoin means higher price of bitcoin, and everyone likes high bitcoin price so that's okay!

Given the fact that Satoshi is believed to be Japanese,it is no surprise that Japanese love bitcoin but as far as adoption and involvement is concerned,I think Chinese have out performed them

Sorry to be negative: Radiation from the fukushima disaster will bring cancer to the Bitcoin network.  Shocked

In other news: How many Bitcoins will it take to clean this up?

Yeah not sure how Mt Gox would have affected bitcoin in Japan but thankfully that is now resigned to history.

Good for Japan and good for Bitcoin. Japanese are very tech people, and having them into Bitcoin is always some guarantee.

http://www.theguardian.com/business/2016/apr/08/yen-us-dollar-deflation-bank-japan

Find it interesting that people use bitcoin in times of currency issue, imagine what will happen when more people adopt bitcoin as a serious avenue to put funds.
Recall China gave us some serious spikes as well because of inflation issues.

not so much about japans love for bitcoin.

but the japanese yen just got weakened so people are moving their funds before things fall
best way for saving i'd say, exchange it to yen again when yen reached the lowest point, and then wait it till get back to the higher point
seems like they're doing a trading didn't it

Its not the japanese love for bitcoin nor the Yen got weakened, it the trust for the bitcoin which cause the people to invest in the bitcoins.
I am sure Japan will be few of those countries where bitcoin is widely openly accepted.

everybody is loving bitcoin these days, that is not a surprise at all. the halving is getting near and we are all expecting a big rise, there is not secret about that. the accumulating phase is nearing the end so the rise can begin.

True, they are seeing profits upcoming in the future and that's why they are starting to love it again as everyone loves BTC just because most people are intended towards making profits only and they just don't see it as a technology...

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-02-22/there-will-be-hyperinflation-japanese-lawmaker-warns-kuroda-got-it-wrong-nirp

This holds for any of the majors. Check out the GBP is plumming hard those days as well.

Stick to the 21 and 2100 1 BTC = 21Mio in any fiat...
