You can't have a healthy economy if everyone stuffs their money into a mattress.  In an effort to encourage diversification of bitcoin services, I'd like to ask you all what you want.  What would convince you to part with your hard-earned BTC?

If you have something specific in mind, post it here instead.  This poll is for generalities, for what you personally think BTC might be "good for."  Everyone can vote twice, so you can split your vote if you can't make up your mind.

I think MMO are still one of the most potent potential economic engine for the growth of the bitcoin economy.

I agree with kiba. I'd like to see more games that take bitcoins. Though I'd prefer a Facebook style flash game, because I have really really terrible internet. I guess I'm a minority in that respect. But at the moment I'd be hard pressed to spend my bitcoins on anything, because they're still locked up it Mt. Gox with the 30 withdrawal time.

A not-too-expensive VPS service.

I know link2voip's stuff, but FreeBSD jails (and similar stuff like linux's VServer) don't cut it for me. Preferably KVM based, but Xen would work too.

I'd also be interested in renting dedicated servers, but only if they were cheap (not more than ~500 btc/month at current exchange rates).

Also, if anyone wants to exchange bitcoins for ISK (no, not EVE currency, Icelandic krónur), that'd be a useful service. Smiley
